Chatriam Grand Bangkok

Where should I start? My experience with this hotel was wonderful since the minute i stepped foot in it. I had the fastest and easiest check-in. The rooms were ready with nice complementary chocolates, snacks and soft drinks in the fridge. All staff I have encountered were exceptionally nice and helpful from receptionists to waiters at restaurants to door men and house keeping. The breakfast was delicious, wonderful variety, good service. The spa was great, the rooms were clean and nice and beds were comfy. Door men always helped us with our bags and stuff when we come back from shopping. They even provided us with breakfast boxes when we checked out because we had an early flight. The location of the hotel was excellent for shoppers next to Siam Paragon shopping mall and not far from platinum fashion mall. I would highly recommend this hotel for any one visiting Bangkok, it is my third visit to Bangkok and this by far was the best hotel i stayed in. Chatrium Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations and we could find no faults throughout our 7D6N stay in their 2-bedroom executive suite . The entire hotel staff team is impressively welcoming, attentive, thoughtful and efficient, truly living up to being a 5-star establishment. The true asset of the hotel is the staff. Before our stay: We booked directly through the hotel website. Enquiries were promptly addressed via the live chat system. Being able to pay at the hotel with a cancellation option 24 hour prior to arrival is essential to those with uncertain travelling dates like us. Hotel Service: Outstanding team of staff. No matter what they were busy with, they would do their best to look up to acknowledge the guests. They approach guests to ask if they need anything without being prompted. They give you the "Hey, I know you are here and I'm here if you need me" kind of feeling and it's very assuring, especially when you are in a foreign land. All in all, the hotel is new, modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel team seem to have gone through a rigorous selection process and they are no doubt very well-trained in hospitality. Even some of the luxury hotels in Singapore pale in comparison in terms of service and attentiveness. We will definitely return on our next trip to Bangkok.

Amazing experience here overall. Breakfast was great. Very great service from staff. They are always greeting and smiling. Free Buggy Ride to Siam Paragon which was always readily available at the lobby and even when it was the busy end of year season we didnt have to wait long. Breakfast was great and had some of the menus changed every day. Room was comfy, clean and the 2-bedroom suite had washing machine, microwave and stove in it. Only thing we hope for the hotel to improve (like all other comments from last year - which means the hotel have not had plans to improve themselves yet) is the EMPTY Kids Club. I literally opened every drawers and cabinets there were and found almost no toys. They only have the baby slide area (which was very cute tho) which lacks of any other toys. And only some seats, a TV and very little old toys tucked in a corner (like broken unusable toys and old books considering it a new hotel). Probably the saddest Kids Club I have ever seen in my visits to 5-star hotels. Its like they were handed over the Kids club from the designer once the hotel is done and they just not willing to spend any budget to make it alive. Considering the amount of kids visiting, they are very lacking. Also the lack of international TV channels so we had to play Thai Channels which we dont understand. These were minor, but left me a pretty bummed impression overall and made me rethink to recommend this hotel to a family or not. Hope they improve soon though :)

Strategically located, safe, warm welcome, personal escort to the spacious and well-designed rooms, outstanding views from each room, delicious complimentary tidbits and free flow of non-alcoholic beverages. Siam Paragon is just a stone’s throw away, and the railway is connected through a series of malls. There is much to do and plenty to see. I loved the buffet spread and the 24-hour gym access.

Was there in November 2023 and I can say that the staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is about 2 mins stroll from Siam Paragon (which they have buggy to and fro). What was unpleasant was the room which had this inexplicable dampness that was rather uncomfortable to stay in. The first night i felt that the pillow cases were rather damp but i brushed it off thinking it was the AC. The second day onwards the moisture in the room became more and more apparent; floors remain wet for long period of time and papers (e.g. receipts, brochures) would become soggy when left on the desk. Of course, both of us fell sick with cough and cold after. Hope that the management fix this.

I just spent 4 nights in this hotel and I have a mix feeling. The rooms are nice and clean and very confortable The hotel is still new and you can feel it. The level of service is not at the standard of what you can expect from this such hotel in Bangkok First : The breakfast If you are tired from your night or your flight , than be patient at the breakfast, you will have to wait in line for more than 20 to 30 minutes to get seated According to the manager : « the hotel capacity had been reached during Christmas break and the closed a 2nd place for breakfast normally located at the 7th floor , plus they open the breakfast for the guest located at the residence near by (2nd tower) When you have the chance to get a seat Than be patient again for your cappuccino… the staff is overwhelmed and over the 4 days I was lucky when I get a black coffee or be patient to get my order… Room cleaning… Here despite using the service request button located on the door, Over 4 nights my room at been serviced 2 out of 4 and I had to ask the receptionist to send to staff to clear my room at 6pm when I was back for my day of visit really despointing so yes they have a golf car service to go to the mall located 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel… Again mixed feelings, and quite desappointed for Bangkok … the price was not cheap at all trust me !

We had a wonderful 4 nights here. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was squeaky clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawbacks were that the TV channels were very minimal. No movie channels in English. Once we're chilling at night in the room , some form of tv entertainment would be nice just to wind down. The same breakfast everyday.
